Exposition: George and Lennie have a father and child relationship and stick together through everything.

Inciting Incident: Curley tries to pick a fight with Lennie but George defends Lennie to make sure he doesn't do anything that will get them kicked out.

Rising Action: Candy finds out about Lennie and George's plan to save money and move into a nice house with rabbits.
Climax: When Curley's wife asked Lennie if he wanted to feel her soft hair, Lennie said yes and when she asked to let go, he wouldn't. She started screaming so Lennie got nervous and accidentally broke her neck.
Fallling Action: Curley finds his wife on the barn ground and gets together a mob of men to find and kill Lennie.
Resolution: George shoots Lennie in the back of his head.
