The narrator is a boy who loves fishing and spends a lot of time doing it. He has neighbors and he ends up asking the Sheila Mant out.
It's nothing! No worries!
What's that noise??
While on the boat the narrator had forgotten that he had just been fishing before Sheila got there, hiding his fishing rod.
There wasn't anything no worries
A big fish latches on getting Sheila's attention and the narrator is torn between losing Sheila or missing out on a huge catch. All the while Sheila gets suspicious while the fish pulls their boat around.
The rod makes a loud sound and Sheila questions it. The narrator doesn't know which to let go and he needs to make the decision fast!
The narrator cuts the line, setting the fish free. He feels awful afterwards and after a bit of fun at the festival Sheila goes home with another guy, no longer bothering to notice the narrator anymore.
