Storyboard Text

  • Issac , you are so small  and useless. Our father does not need you.
  • Ishmael was disrespecting our son Isaac and it is unacceptable.
  • Get rid of that slave women! Get rid of her son! Her son will never have a share of the family's property.
  • One day, Abraham prepared a big celebration because Sarah and his son Isaac was growing up. Sarah had seen that Ishmael was making fun of Isaac. Ishmael was the son of Abraham and Hagar.
  • Don't be upset about the boy and your slave Hager. Listen to what Sarah tells you, because your family line will continue through Isaac.
  • Sarah went to Abraham and told him that Ishmael was being mean to Isaac. Sarah was also a bit jealous about the fact that her husband had a child with her slave.
  • Here is some food and water you will need when you go to Beersheba.
  • Sarah did not want Ishmael to have any part of their family's property and that the only solution to the problem was to get rid of both Hager and Ishmael.
  • Be brave my son.
  •  Abraham was very upset because Ishmael was his son after all and didn't want to send him away. Abraham heard a voice and it was God. He told him not to be upset and to listen to Sarah.
  • Abraham listened to God and the next morning, Abraham got food, a bottle of water and gave them to Hager and Ishmael.
  • Abraham gave his son a hug and told him to be brave. He then sent Hager and Ishmael on their way to the Desert of Beersheba
