Storyboard Text

  • Hello, I'm Julius Caesar
  • Hi, I'm Brutus
  • I will control Rome and be in charge of the government.
  • How can we stop him from destroying the Roman Republic?
  • Why don't we just get rid of him and kill him?
  • This is Julius Caesar and Brutus. They are one of each other's closest friends. Caesar was involved in the government of Rome.
  • Join us and murder Caesar! He will destroy the Roman republic!
  • He is my friend, but you are right.
  • Julius Caesar was beginning to gain more power in the government.
  • I love him but I need to do this to protect the Roman republic
  • Around this time, many senates began to fear what Caesar would do to Rome. They planned a plot for March 15th to kill Caesar so he would not destroy the Roman republic.
  • Brutus was being persuaded by the senates to join in on the murder plot against Caesar. Eventually, Brutus decided to move against Caesar after he became more suspicious of Caesar becoming more tyrant.
  • It was not a decision Brutus made lightly. He loved Caesar but he loved the Roman republic more, and the rest of the senate used this loyalty to convince him that Caesar had to die for the Republic to be saved.
  • On March 15th, 44 BC, Caesar was assassinated by the help of his friend Brutus. Brutus will always be remembered as an ultimate backstabber.
