  • Now that we know that, we can learn the cell theory. The 3 main ideas of the cell theory are 1, all organisms are composed of cells. 2, the cell is the basic unit of organization. 3, all cells come from pre-existing cells. The two main types of cells are eurokaryote, and prokaryotic.

  • Now, onto organelles. The role of the Mitochondria in a cell, is to provide energy. In a city, the mitochondria is like electricity. The role of the vacuole is for storage, and in a city the vacuole would be like a water tower. Last, the role of the Nucleus is to contain the information. The city halw would be like the nucleus in a cell.
  • The cell membrane is a very important part of a cell. The cell membrane chooses what comes in and out of a cell, and is flexible, and has moving parts.
  • Another amazing part of a cell is the Vesicle. The vesicle's job is to move materials from one place to another. The Concentration Gradient is also important, because it also helps move molecules.
  • Another way for cells to be transported is through Osmosis or Diffusion. Osmosis is through only water molecules, and Diffusion is through all other molecules.
