Once upon a time, in a land far away, lived the young princess Snow White. Snow White had lived a hard life. Her mother died giving birth to her, and her father, who blamed her for the death of his wife, constantly abused her.
For a period of time, life got better when Snow White’s stepmother came into the picture. Although, after a while, nothing Snow White did was good enough to please her stepmother, and her stepmother began to treat Snow White cruelly, often purposefully doing things to hurt Snow White.
“Where are we going? Did she send you to hurt me?”
One day, when walking in the garden with her guard, the Huntsman, Snow White noticed that they had walked further away from the castle than ever before, and had even crept up on the outskirts of the forest.
“No one sent me. What are you talking about?”
Without a second thought, Snow White took off running towards the forest which she knew would protect her from being found. After what felt like days, Snow White stumbled upon an old cottage and decided to go in. After snooping around for a little, seven dwarfs entered the home.
“Why did you run away?” asked a dwarf.
“My stepmother was trying to kill me or get rid of me. I had to leave before she could hurt me,” she said.
After a couple weeks of living together, the dwarves noticed that Snow White sometimes acted odd. Whenever anyone said something mean to her, her mannerisms and behavior completely changed. She would also often time leave for hours at a time, and would come back with no recollection of what happened. Also, she became paranoid when remembering her past.
When Snow White stumbled upon a basket of apples, she decided to eat one and ended up being poisoned. Lucky enough, The Prince found her and saved her. When he asked her why she ran away, she told him the story about her stepmom. The prince then replied, "Snow, there is no queen, your father never remarried." That is when they knew something was truly wrong with Snow White.
