  • My family and I had to bring food, clothing, firewood, water, and tents.
  • Crossing Rivers
  • We began the journey on April 10, 1862 when the wind was cool and the sun was bright.
  • WE MADE IT! Life in Oregon
  • There  are many things I had to eat. They were  dried out moldy bacon, damp sugar, and brown and green water.
  • Yes!
  • Once  we came across a really deep river and we had to choose to make a raft to go on, or put animal skin on the outside of the wagon.
  • When we got to Oregon, we were so tired we slept on the ground. The next, morning we got up and went straight to work on building our forever home in Oregon.
