Women are supposed to dress in a feminine formand they are supposed to take care of the children in the house.
But I fit the job well too.
I'm sorry but the job best fits a man.
This happens to many people everyday, especially in India. This discrimination or different treatment toward one person's gender. In this example, the women does not get the job because the job is supposedly for a man, but the boss just doesn't want a woman to control the finances of the company.
Women are supposed to dress in a feminine form and they are supposed to take care of the house and the children.
Much of this sexism in India occurs because of cultural beliefs and geneder roles society places on each gender.
Women also don't need education because they don't have to work.
Because of these gender roles and beliefs women don't have the chance to go to school and they don't get to follow a career, so they have to depend on men, who do work. These sexism slows down the economy of India because it prevents all women to receive education which reduces the labor force in India , which lowers the GDP (Gross Domestic Product), so they don't gain many profits because they don't produce as many goods and services.
