  • What do we mean by media?
  • Appearance pressures are pressures put on people to look a certain way that is often unrealistic or unattainable. Some examples include being skinny, having perfect skin and hair. When I was younger appearance pressure didn't exsist and even for teens, social media wasn't there to haunt us.
  •
  • Pressures come from all the stuff we see and that are deemed as "normal". A lot of the time these pressures come from social media and what we see online. Another place that pressures come from is magazines that photo shop and edit photos to have an unrealistic expectation.
  •
  • When we say media we mean the communication and sharing between links, websites and people. Media is used to connect one another, but can also do much more harm than good.
