Oh, yea! I'm your best friend and you do my chores and give me your dessert!
Who are you?
What do you mean Jason? It's me, Piper!
Hi. I'm Jason, the son of the Roman god Jupiter, or the Greek god Zeus! My sword is called Ivlivs, a coin that when lands on heads, is a sword, and when it lands on tails, it becomes a jousting weapon. It can call down lightning from the sky!
JASON! YOUR FLYING!
WHAT! THAT"S SO COOL!
This is the character, Jason. He has lost all of his memory and awoke on a bus. The bus was on the way to The Grand Canyon. Apparently, he has a girlfriend named Piper, and his best friend is Leo, a jokester, and an engineering mastermind. This is the first time the reader sees Jason.
Based on what we read, and the cover, we can expect Jason to look something like this. He has blonde hair and (on the cover) wears an orange shirt. He has blue eyes and was perfect according to Piper and Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty, which says a lot. His looks weren't the only thing about him. He was a fighter and a hero, who risked his life for others. He was brave and wasn't afraid of the challenges that were ahead of him.
I am Jason Grace, the son of Jupiter!
This is the character, Jason. He has lost all of his memory and awoke on a bus. The bus was on the way to The Grand Canyon, and while there, a storm spirit attacked. Piper, Jason's girlfriend who he didn't remember was thrown off the edge, and he jumped down to save her, where he found out he could fly. Coach Hedge fights the storm spirit while this happens.
Wow! Jason is smart!
So Percy is probably in the Roman camp with no memory either!
At the beginning of the story, Jason is pretty confused. Although he lost his memory, certain events happen that could make him even more confused. First off, Camp Half-Blood comes to recruit them, and brings them to a weird camp. If that isn't weird enough, he finds out he can call down lightning with his coin that turns into a sword.
In the middle of the book, Jason is very brave. He risked his life in a different way. He was the distraction while fighting the giant so Piper and Leo could save Hera. This was very brave because the giant was stronger compared to him. He was almost invincible to Jason's attacks, but Jason still took the hits and powered through, also showing he was strong.
At the end of the book, Jason is pretty smart! He has great inferencing skills. He is also smart because he is Roman. This means that he is different than the Greek demigods. He knows about different types of fighting and history that were helpful in the journey.
