Scoot which is the younger sister went below into the old sea dog and she was in the galley while Sully her older brother was steering the boat on northy course about 15 miles off desolate Cabo Colnett, South of Ensenada
Sully was paying attention to the seagulls diving on small fish. Then when he wasn't looking a giant wave crept up silently behind the sea dog. It lifted the boat like a carpenter's chip. They were trying to communicate with each other.
While Scoot was in the galley she was trying to find a way out the galley. Sully was trying to open the door but the water was pushing it and the force wouldn't let the door open. Sully and Scoot were trying to find a way to communicate so they would know that they were alive.
Scoot remembered she saw tool box in the hallway in the galley, She was using the flashlight to use the tool box She was trying to take out the screws so the window would open so she can escape the skylight
After Scoot escaped the skylight the boat had settled at least six inches in the past 2 hours. Scoot found a way to get out by bracing her feet against the ceiling ribs she pushed with all her strength, and finally this time the window opened.
Scoot called out Sully,He looked her way, saw the grin on her face. They were shivering, holding each other for warmth all night knowing that the boat was sinking lower and lower each hour. But just after dawn The Red Rooster, a long-range sports fishing boat of San Diago came to get them.
