Storyboard Text

  • I just finished my Math tutorial. Ms Hana taught me about "common factor" today.
  • Hello Jack. Where have you been? I didn't see you riding bicycle today.
  • I can explain it to you. Let's go to my house.
  • What is "common factor"? I have not learned it at my school yet.
  • For example: 6 is a product of 1 and 6. 6 is also a product of 2 and 3. So the factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3 and 6.
  • Factors are numbers that can be multiplied together to get the original number.
  • Common factor is the same ("common") factor of two or more numbers.
  • I understand factor now. So what is common factor?
  • Let me give you an example. The factors of 8 are 1, 2, 4 and 8. The factors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12. So common factors of 8 and 12 are 1, 2 and 4.
  • Now I understand common factor. It is simple and easy.
  • You are welcome, Jane. Let me know if you need help with Math.
  • Thanks Jack. It is great to learn common factor from you.
