Jared: But what is that over there? Caedon: It’s some sort of shape that almost looks like a square, but it doesn't have 4 right angles and all the sides aren't the same
Jared: I know for certain that it isn’t a parallelogram because it has curved edges,so it definitely isn’t your square. Let’s just keep going so we can find it.
Caedon: Hey guys! I found something. I think it’s your square! Nate: Jared, it's not a square, it’s clearly a trapezoid because it has a pair of parallel sides.
Jared: Then that in the corner over there must be your square. Nate: No, just because it has 4 right angles does Not mean it is a square, all the sides have to be the same that’s just a rectangle.
Nate: We’re never going to find my square! Jared: Not with that attitude, here you can have my triangle. It’s close enough to a square right?
Nate: NO! Not even close! It has only 3 angles, AND THEY’RE ALL ACUTE!!! Jared: The only thing that even comes close to a square would have to be the rhombus. Would you be happy with it’s 2 parallel pairs and congruent sides?
