  • You now have 200 pounds due to your son's unfortunate death.
  • Mr. White and Herbert patiently wait for Sergeant Major Morris to arrive playing chess. And talking about how he hates the swamp and Sergeant Major Morris arrives.
  • CLIMAX
  • KNOCK KNOCK........
  • Sergeant Major Morris arrives and explains the monkeys paw to Mr.White and decides to throw it in the fire. Morris says better let it burn. Mr. White takes it out of the fire.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Mr. White makes his first wish to get 200 pounds. he does so to pay off his morgage. After their son Herbert leaves a man shows up and enters the house.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Later that night the wife goes mad saying that Mr. White can wish the son alive again. The husband does this and hears dreadful knocking on the door the wife tries desperately to open the door but she cannot.
  • I WISH FOR MY SON TO BE GONE!!!!
  • Mr. White made this wish just in time. The wife then burst the door open. But nothing was there.
  • Mr. White, after making this wish ran over to her. And stood by her side. That is the end of the monkey's paw.
