Mothers would give birth to children. Then they would stay home until they were seven years old.
Soldiers would come and inspect the children to see if they were flawed in any way. if they were not flawed they would stay home until they became the age of 7.
If the children had any imperfections whatsoever they would be taken to the top of a mountain. Once they reached the top of the mountain the soldiers would throw the unwanted baby's over the side.
The children didn't really go to school. Once the boys were seven they were sent to train for the Army.
The boys would leave their home and go live in the barracks. When they were here they would train, eat, and sleep.
The boys would train to become fearsome warriors. But they also would get whipped constantly to make them more resistant to pain.
