  • Imperialism is terrible. Europeans mutilated and controlled my people with force. We had no way to escape this life.
  • Historical globalization is identified as when Columbus made his first voyage to the Caribbean in 1492.
  • Historical globalization ruined my culture. The Europeans took away all that I had and forced me to assimilate to their ways.
  • Mercantilism is the theory that a nation's prosperity depends on its success at gaining wealth by exporting goods more than they import.
  • Europeans worked people like me for hours with no rest and without adequate pay. It was almost impossible to support family under these circumstances.

  • The grand exchange has negative influences on a lot of things such as when people exchange information. It really affects their cultural identity and what they identify with as they might prefer the western way or some other culture than their own.
