Storyboard Text

  • The Green Knight begins his journey to Camelot
  • here we go again...... Mr big shot.....
  • Today is the day that I shall go and challenge the best knights in the world!
  • I hope these knights are as great as everyone says they are.....
  • The Green Knight arrived to Camelot to the sounds of joy and celebration. As he was entered the crowd was quickly silenced as they gazed upon the knight's greenish hue. The Green Knight then presented his challenge to the Knights of the Round Table
  • Boy only of someone would come offer a challenge...... after all we are the best knights in the world.
  • Sir Gawain stepped up for his fellow knights and took the challenge from the Green Knight and will in a year's time meet him at the Green chapel and fulfill his quest to take the blow from the Green Knight's axe
  • I step forth and accept your challenge Mr. Green Knight and I will meet you in one year's time to complete your challenge
  • Foolish boy.. you haven't the tiniest sprout on your head. We shall see if you are ready for this challenge
  • 1 year's time has passed and Sir Gawain has set out on his journey to meet with the Green Knight and pay his debt.
  • Look! There's a castle up ahead! I wonder if they have any shelter for us tonight..
  • Gah I hope so.... You're killing my back...
  • Happy to have been able to accommodate you on your journey. Best of luck to you on your quest!
  • The gracious King harbored Sir Gawain for 3 days as he prepared for his meeting with the Green Knight. Each day the King and Sir Gawain exchanged gifts they had received.  Sir Gawain cooperated until the 3rd day when he kept a green girdle that he received because he was told that it would protect him from being decapitated.
  • Thank you my lord for giving me a place to lay my head as I have prepared to face my fate
  • your debt to me has been payed. I thank you for your courage and honesty. I hope to treat you to a celebration the next time we meet young one.
  • Thank you Green Knight this was a true test of my knighthood. I look forward to meeting again some day.
  • And so it was finished.. Sir Gawain had proven himself to the Green Knight and that was done. He lived to tell his tale.
