Continuing our journey, we will now visit some of the principal actors that were a part of this revolution.
I am George Washington I was the leader of the American army during the Revolutionary War. I represented Virginia in the First and Second Continental Congress. And Finally, I was the 1st U.S. President.
I am Thomas Jefferson. I was the principal writer of the Declaration of Independence. I made a deal with France called the Louisiana Purchase and doubled the size of the United States.
I am Thomas Paine. I wrote "Common Sense" and it helped convince the colonists that independence made common sense.
Wow! Seems like they really did succeed in making the United States, the United States. But there is one more thing I am wondering. Did this revolution have any consequences? Let's research!
