In the US, there's a Mixed Economy. It has aspects of both capitalism and socialism, giving everyone the freedom to have their private ownerships and also get government help with certain thing. Some example of govt interference is healthcare.
In my shop we sold more books than we sold art supplies, but after an increase in art customers we had to decrease our supply in books and increase our art supplies to meet the demand
In Market Economies citizens are free to do as they please with their business with no government interference at all
In Traditional Economies citizens provide for their own needs with no need of government interference or trade. They rely on their nice relationships with their neighbors and personal skills to survive. There's bad seasons and good seasons to work hard in for harsh times.
In Command Economies the govt takes control of everything going on. Citizens can't own nor create their own businesses, all of it is owned by the govt. Everyone is payed equally, no one is more powerful than the others (besides govt)
