We are going to be doing the Phenylketonuria test or also know as the PKU test to your child to make sure he doesn't have PKU.
PKU is caused by mutations in the baby's gene that makes a substance that is produced by a living organism that acts as a catalyst (also called a enzyme) called PAH.
Mom, what causes PKU?
I didn't see some of the symptoms on the baby like odor in the breath and skin, eczema, or blue eyes (most of the people who have PKU have blue eyes).
