Storyboard Text

  • Every year, the Athenians were forced to send fourteen of their people to Crete as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. Theseus wished to put an end to the massacre.
  • Father, I am here to announce to you that I will voluntarily go to Crete and slay the Minotaur.
  • As you wish, Son. Be careful.
  • In Crete, Theseus met Ariadne, the princess of Crete. She fell in love with him.
  • I come from Athens.
  • I came here, to slay the Minotaur laying in the labyrinth.
  • Where are you from Theseus? I've never seen you around here.
  • What brings you to Crete?
  • I have to go now, it was a pleasure meeting you.
  • Thank you Ariadne. If I escape from the maze, I will marry you!
  • Wait! Don't go yet. I know a way I can help you!!
  • Here, tie this up at the entrance of the labyrinth so that you don't get lost.
  • Theseus did what Ariadne said, he tied the rope to the column and tied the other end to his waist.
  • Theseus walked in the maze and found the Minotaur sleeping.
  • He made his move and killed the Minotaur in his sleep.
