Cassie, this isn’t fair. You know that you have to buy us lunch every day. It’s your job, as the youngest of the group. And because you didn’t do that, you have give us your lunch.
I know, I know, but it’s so hard to do that. I’m scared that the bullies will find out if I tell anyone, and make fun of me even more. They said that they would report me if I talk to anyone because one of them is a school prefect. They’re also threatening and blackmailing me over text message and I don’t know how to respond!
Enough is enough! We’re older than you, which means that you have to listen to us, and stop arguing! And while you’re at it, maybe grow a little bit, you’re too short.
U-Um, guys? I don't want to have to buy you lunch every day. I don't think it's fair...
If they're really my friends, why would they be so mean to me? I wish they would just stop
That afternoon, in Cassie's room:
Hey Kylie, can I ask you something? There are these people I call friends over at my school but… I don’t really know if they are true friends... They always make fun of me and treat me as if I’m some kind of servant. They say that because they're older than me they can treat me like that, but I don't like it...
Oh no! Have you tried telling a teacher or a trusted adult? You should really tell an adult, they can give you advice and help you fix up the mess. If you don’t tell anyone, then the situation is going to get worse! They’re just going to keep bullying you and no one will ever know!
They can’t report you for getting bullied!! And it’s even cyber bullying now?! First, screenshot the mean messages they’ve sent you as evidence and then block them. You can report them too, that might help. Show the screenshots to a trusted adult and they’ll help you with the rest.
And that’s exactly why you should start doing all of this now, before they get a chance to. Come on, screenshot, block, report, then go ask for help!
Okay, I think you're right. I'll go to the principal tomorrow, at school. Thank you so much, Kylie!
B-But if I block or report them, they’ll confront me about it at school and make my life miserable!!
