Storyboard Text

  • Pass the ball!
  • Here, catch!
  • Oh No!
  • Why'd you throw the ball that high?
  • The ball is at rest
  • Wow I didn't mean to throw it that high.
  • Is it ever going to come down?
  • The boy throws the ball and the force of the throw causes the ball to go flying towards his friend
  • Woah! Here it comes.
  • It's traveling really fast!
  • The acceleration and velocity of the ball from the boys's throw causes it to continue travel upwards. However, the ball is being acted upon by air friction and gravity and it is losing speed due to that
  • Nice catch!!
  • I caught it!!
  • The football reaches it's hight peak and then begins it's descent
  • The ball begins to fall, it gains velocity and from gravity but is still being slowed by air friction
  • The boy who catches it is an outside force which acts upon the ball and causes it to stop and stay at rest again until someone or something acts upon it
