  • Well...we have to measure the size of your drawing, the large part and the small part, then we measure what you have carved out.
  • So, I drew out my sculpture and I carved out a small piece, but now I don't know how big my large part is supposed to be!
  • Okay, pay attention. I measured the drawing and the big one is 12 inches and the small ones 2. then I measured your already carved out part it was 5 inches. So we put 12 over 2 equals x over 5, cross multiply and then solve.
  • HUH?!?!
  • We now have 60 = 2x. Two divided by 60 is 30. So now we know your big part is 30 inches.
  • Soooo, whats that?!
