As president, I've decided that we should help out poor countries.
We're a poor country in need of money.
I'll give you ten million dollars to buy the resources you need most. How does that sound?
He is the President of a country which makes him a leader. Foreign aid is not within countries, it's from leader to leader. His main concern is to stay in power even if it's not shown directly.
Yes! That's perfect! With that money we would no longer be struggling.
The man talking in the front is the leader of his people. He is asking the country to give them money for support, but would this be the smartest choice on the President's behalf?
You made such a good choice to give that money to the poor country. That makes this country look so good.
He is giving the poor country money thinking that he is doing what's best, but instead he could be making a mistake. A lot of the time aid doesn't get to the citizens . The money the President is giving is just putting money in his pocket.
With all that money the fool gave us I was able to build something very nice for myself and i'll never have to worry about food and water. I can't believe no one has questioned me yet. Yessss
The no longer poor country kindly and quietly accepts the money from the President making the President feel like he made the right choice. Was it the right choice?
As mentioned before, the leaders will do anything to keep them in power. This is a perfect example. Since he gave money to a struggling country, It makes them look good. Sadly, the aid/money can sometimes not be used for the right purpose.
This leader used the money for the wrong purpose because it wasn't taken as seriously. The President was only worried about staying above everyone else. The people of the poor country still are poor and struggling all because of the selfish leader.
