  • I can not believe that my wife wants to work with me. That's horrible.
  • “Elizabethan Era.” ELIZABETHAN ERA, www.elizabethan-era.org.uk/.
  • In the 1500's, women were claimed to just cook and clean.  The most women could do is domestic service. Women were expected to be in the house at all times. Men only thought of women as objects that cook and clean. No man ever expected nor wanted a woman to have a title such as, lawyers or nurses. This was almost like a sin or something that was forbidden in their world.
  • In the 1500's women were viewed as second class citizens. They did not have any worth. Men claimed that the women couldn't do anything because of their emotions. The assumption that women cry too much could have been brought up and this could have been the argument to why women are weak. This could have mentally made women start to notice that they are not valued.
  • In the 1500's men wanted to be superior. Men did not care what a woman had to say. Even if women told people they wanted to go to school no one listened nor encourage. Having a woman in charge of anything terrified men. Men wanted to be in control of everything. This is the way the world now works and this is why we have so many protests for women because even though the world has slightly changed its thinking we still don't acknowledge women.
