Eager to get him to run in fear, I summoned forth a herd of hippos to the base of the rock which he sat upon. They roared and roared over the terrifying plains but the man still only sat and trembled.
I then sent lighting down from the heavens above! The water tossed and rose and the deafening wind ripped passed every sprouting from the ground. the thunder shook the mighty rock he sat upon. Yet, the man still merely sat and trembled.
Enraged, I stopped everything. The rain ceased, the heavens silenced, the water sank down. The man arose and looked off terrified. He listened and heard the uneasy sound of silence which was now the word engraved on the rock.
The man, frightened at the stillness of the once frightful landscape, turned and ran off shuddering. I emerged from my hiding place and never saw the man again.
The demon laughed and sank back into the dark tomb.
Hahahaha! Wasn't that a wonderful story!
The demon cursed me for not laughing with him and the cave dwelling lynx came to lay at his feet.
