Hi, my name is Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi I was the one who made Indian numerals popular. 1,2,3 I also wrote 'On the calculation with Hindu numbers' around 820 A.D.
I invented the mural instrument. The mural instrument is a wall mounted object that was aligned precisely on the Meridian and was used for astronomical purposes of observing stars and their positions.
Another of my inventions was spherical trigonometry, a branch of spherical geometry which focuses on the trigonometric functions of the sides of angles and spherical polygons, especially spherical triangles. This is useful for when you want to map out large chunks of Earth as it is a sphere and easily categorised into triangles.
