There once was a young boy named Oliver who played soccer. It was his first year playing, and he was on one of the best teams in the entire town. Oliver was not the greatest player and had no experience previously.
One day at a training session, his teammate Logan, the most popular kid in his grade, began to make fun of Oliver. He called him names, such as 'loser' and picked on him continuously about his inability to score goals. Logan was the captain and the best on the team.
Because of this, Oliver did not want to attend weekly training sessions and matches. He was discouraged and he felt as though he was unwanted on the team. He would pretend to be sick when training sessions were on or matches were to be played so his mother wouldn't take him.
Oliver's mother began to notice this was a repetitive occurrence, and asked if there was something wrong.
Oliver finally gives into his mother, telling her that he was getting bullied by Logan. Oliver's mother notified the coach of the team about the issue.
Oliver then attended the next training session. This was when the coach of the team pulled Logan and Oliver aside. He asked what was going on between the two.
