1776 - Colonists had argued that they had inalienable rights that could not be taken, this was expressed in the Declaration of independence.
Articles of Confederation
That is how the Country was formed!
Then our founding fathers needed to make a blueprint for a working government and system of laws.
So they made the Articles of Confederation (This lasted 10 years).
Land ordinance gave the plan for the land for the towns, cities, and the states.
Ladies had no rights and were stuck in the "Domestic Sphere", but this changes in Era 5.
