Storyboard Text

  • On a foggy day 2007, a cat named Belle birthed a litter of six kittens. They were named Camper, Midnight, Shadow, Snowball, Oreo, and Abbott Jr. Three children, Abby, Matt, and Nick, were fascinated by these tiny cats.
  • Aren't they cute?
  • For eight weeks the children were able to play with and take care of these kittens. They even chose favorites, hoping that their parents would let them keep at least one. However, everyone liked Camper a lot.
  • I love Camper!
  • I like Shadow.
  • Snowball's my favorite!
  • One day, most of the kittens were given away to the folks around town. Although the house now seemed extra spacious without the tiny fluff-balls, the children were not experiencing any sadness. They had been able to keep Camper... for now.
  • Hmm... the house feels really empty now.
  • Yeah....
  • On that fateful morning, Nick was met with a horrible sight. During his slumber, Camper had mistaken Nick's toy box as a litter box! Nick was distraught and told his parents, who promptly decided to rid the family of the obviously rotten kitten.
  • Oh no! My toys!
  • I'm sorry. I should've put my toys up higher!
  • The children's parents later decided that Belle needed to be taken away along with Camper, and the children wept for their lost friends. Nick felt like it was all his fault and tried his best to convince his parents not to get rid of the cats.
  • After a long while of sorrow, the father of the six kittens, Hunter, came and comforted Nick. By then, his brother and sister had gone to their rooms to get the kittens off their mind, but Nick had nothing to cheer him up. Seeing what was going on, the last cat in the house, Fisher, also walked into the room. Nick had never felt like anyone wanted him happy as much as those cats did that day.
  • Aww... I guess everything will be okay.
