In this scene Katniss Everdene ,the main character, is going hunting for her family so they could survive in District 12's post-apocolyptic type setting. This shows what Katniss and her family have to go through everyday to survive.
I thins scene Katniss has arrived at the Hunger Games Arena getting ready to fight against other tributes as well as someone from her own District Peeta Mallark and she is very scared to kill. This is the big conflict because in order to survive she has to go against her moral code and she doesn't want to kill Peeta.
In this scene a girl ,named Rue which eventually teams up with Katniss, warns her that there is a tracker jacker nest above her which she then drops on the careers & Peeta. This is what I considered rising action because it is building friendships and alliances between tributes and characters.
In this scene Katniss needs to go back to the cornucopia to get medicine Peeta desperately need to survive from his leg wound from tiny bag. This is the climax because this is the big moment that is the point of life or death for Peeta and Katniss.
In this scene Peeta & Katniss have already killed the last tribute ,Cato, but it is announced that two tributes can't win so they decided to kill themselves with poison berries but are saves by the announcer and are allowed to survive. This is the rising action because it is starting to slow down the story and starting to put an end to it.
In this scene Katniss and Peeta have just gotten back from the Hunger Games ,but Katniss said that she was pretending to like Peeta and she does now so they have to keep up the act and it is very awkward between them. This is the resolution because besides just being the end of the book it is also a cliff hanger for the next book.
