The first nations people were upset with the French's agreement to the British laws
The Ottawa's, Ojibwas, Powtatomis and Huron Tribes united to take down the british forts and strong holds
the first attack on fort Detroit was proven unsuccessful due the British being prepared with reinforcements
however 8 other sieges were successful in an attempt to weaken the British
The british remained in power but as the natives were weakening they were willing to negotiate with the british who were also willing to listin to the native people
after the Stanwix and Niagara treaty British law was reinforced due to the Quebec act which left first nations people with the short hand of the stick as they lost land and nothing was done about it .
