Then maybe someone had fund your Social Security number and went into your account as you.
Hey, I received a bill yesterday for $25,000 and I didn't buy anything.
My Credit Card is at home, but I do not know where my Driver's License is.
Did you lose anything. things like your Driver's license number, or your Credit card number?
You should call the 3 major reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union
Call the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
Have them put a fraud alert on your file and ask that they call you before new or old accounts are opedned
I definitely will, but who should I contact?
Thank you, I will be more careful next time, I don't want this ever happening to me ever again.
The Next Day
Did you get that problem fixed?
Yep, I am happy that I don't have to worry anymore about someone else in my account buying very expensive things.
Remember, DO NOT share your Social Security number with anyone, unless you are absolutely sure. make sure you keep your credit card and driver's license or anything else that would have your Social Security number on it.
