  • In this scene Lennie is talking about how pretty he thinks Curley's wife is. Curley's wifes red dress represents Lennie's temptation. This shows that The theme temptation can be anywhere.

  • In this scene Crooks is telling Lennie that his ream wont come true. This represents foreshadowing of the end of the book where there dream doesn't come true. The theme of this scene is that some people know from experience the difficulty of some dreams.
