  • Gravity
  • Gravity pulls down towards the center of the Earth...
  • Elasticity
  • This is getting difficult!
  • Friction
  • Some of the concepts of friction are rougher objects have more friction, surface area impacts friction, more weight equals more friction, and there are many types of friction.
  • Thanks to sliding friction we didn't get ran over by the bus.
  • Gravity makes everything fall at the same speed (9.8 m/s^2), everything has gravity, gravity depends on mass and distance, and weight changes depending on how strong gravity is pulling you.
  • Types of Friction
  • That shot put took a lot of friction, it's like pushing something heavy on the ground.
  • One of the concepts of elasticity is that the more you pull the more force is produced. Also, it is used in your joints to help you move.
  • Magnetism
  • The magnet is pulling me!
  • The friction used by a bus daily to stop/brake is sliding friction. The rotor is acted upon by the brake that is held by a brake caliper which is actuated by brake pedal being pushed down by your foot.
  • Types of Magnets
  • Flexible
  • I'm trapped!
  • Types of Friction: rolling- basketball, sliding- hockey puck, static- shot put, and fluid- tennis ball.
  • Basketball
  • Shot put
  • Hockey Puck
  • Tennis Ball
  • Some concepts of magnetism are that magnets have two poles, the strongest pull is at the poles, the same pole will repel while different will attract, and magnetic material will always be attracted to a magnet.
  • Types of magnets: bar, square, and flexible.
  • Mwhahaha. My plan has worked.
  • Bar
  • Square
