Storyboard Description

The storyboard is about the main causes of WW2. Those causes are the Treaty of Versailles, appeasement, and the League of Nations. The contribution of these to the start of the war was major.

Storyboard Text

  • this did not work because the league had no army, power, and not all countries wanted to join the league. Therefore when the Germans and Japanese attacked nobody did anything to stop them
  • The League of Nations was supposed to stop war from happening.
  • The harder one for Germany to settle with was the disarmament part because they could not have an army which meant no defense either if attacked.
  • Finally, the territorial clause was one of the final straws for Germany. They had to give up most of the land that they had throughout their empire and were not allowed to take it back either.
  • France and Britain allowed Germany to keep advancing with no consequences also let Germany break Treaty of Versailles. This was called apeasement.
  • The Treaty of Versailles was another cause of WW2. The treaty forced war guilt clause, reparations, disarmament, and territorial clauses
  • Germans were also going broke due to the reparations they had to pay and this led to them finally attack Poland
  • Germany was furious by this and reacted by breaking the treaty and finding all sorts of loopholes.
