It was the first practice of my senior season. I was very excited, and I was anxious to get back into shape. Knowing this would be the last season I would play, I wanted to be 100%.
im good coach, im hitting my stride
how r u feeling?
However, it seemed 100% might have been out of the occasion by the week of our first game. I injured my shoulder during our camp days, and then got turf toe 4 days before our game. Coach was sure the toe injury would be around the whole season.

Despite the injuries, I played in our season opener. Everything went very well. The toe wasn't too much of an issue, and I avoided contact with my bad shoulder. It seemed as if I was going to make it through the season.
I am SO proud of all of your efforts ...
Halfway through the season, I was playing at full speed compared to playing hesitantly because of the injuries. I felt loose and I felt like I was hitting my stride. When Coach came to check up on me, I let him know I felt good.
keep it up
When it came to the playoff game in Platteville, I was ready to go. However, something terrifying occurred. Reaching down to catch a pass during pregame, I felt my left shoulder dislocate from the socket and then pop back in when I hit the ground. I was in a lot of pain. I went to the sideline. After talking to the trainer, coach, and some words from my teammates, I decided to play but I knew Id be limited. But it could've been my last game.
Run Cheetah Offense!
Ultimately, we lost the game. But I have never been more proud of what I did on the football field. Throughout the game, I played without thinking, just playing. I played through the adversity. I was very proud of myself and my teammates.
