You must now go and journey to the sacred grounds on Which our ancestors used to pray at.
I have finally arrived.
Ahote and his native friends indulge in the sweat lodge. They sing, pray, talk, and meditate as they sit. The sweat lodge's purpose is to purify the soul and body. This allows them to restore right relationships with themselves as well as others.
The medicine man tells Ahote that he must now travel far from the camp to visit the grounds on which his ancestors used to pray.
You shall become one who overcomes adversity and leads his people.
Ahote has arrived at the special place of this ancestors like the medicine man instructed him to.
Your new name shall be Clayton.
Ahote was expected to fast, pray and meditate very frequently while on his journey.
Ahote has a vision where he sees a falcon who tells who tells him what he will become.
The medical man begins to interpret Ahote's vision and explains the meaning behind it. He says a falcon represents victory, leadership, and overcoming. As a result, the medical man decided that Ahote's new name would be 'Clayton', meaning falcon.
