  • Achillies cuts down every Trojan he sees . Strengthened by his rage he leaves a path of destruction and death on his way to Hector.
  • No matter how many men are against me , I'll slaughter them all!!
  • He even fights the god Xanthus , who is angered at the amount of corpses Achillies as dumped in his stream.
  • Foolish demi god , thou shalt feel my wrath!!!
  • The final confrontation between Achilles and Hector begins with Achilies emerging as the winner
  • I will make you pay for what you did in blood !!
  • The only blood that's going to be spilled is from you Achilles.
  • The battle ends with Achilles killing Hector and dragging his lifeless body across the battlefield and into the Achaean camp
  • Achilles continues to drag Hector's lifeless corpse in circles during Patroclus funeral.
  • At last I have avenged my friend Patroclus in the name of the gods.
  • At last the Achaeans can celebrate their victory over the Trojans and honor Patroclus in his funeral with a long list of athletic games.
  • *It is known that the Achaeans didn't play any modern sports, however the author found it difficult to implement any sports from this peroid. *
  • Priam (one of the gods) creates sympathy in Achillies by invoking the memory of his father eventually convincing Achillies to return the body.
  • Shortly after , the gods determine that Hector's body deserves a proper hero's funeral and demand that Achilles hand over the body to Hetors Father.
  • This leads to a truce between Trojans and Achaeans which is only temporary in the memory of Hector.
