  • Pick sides with the British
  • It is wise not to pick sides
  • pick sides with the French!
  • Hamilton and jefferson fight over having a national bank. Jefferson strongly disagrees because it says nothing about a national bank in the constitution. Hamilton believes it will make the central government stronger.
  • Washington Retires
  • My time of being president has come to an end
  • Farmers are protesting. It was not fair for them because whiskey was the fastest way they could get it t the market. They also used whiskey to get goods for themselves.
  • XYZ Affair
  • Pay us and you can talk to the minister
  • No! we won't even pay you a sixpence.
  • George Washington was told that french people were protesting just like the americans were doing. Hamilton and jefferson argue on which side to take during this. Hamilton wanted to Hamilton wanted to side with the British but Jefferson wanted to side with the french. But George Washington decided to stay neutral.
  • Alien Sedition Acts
  • It has come to my attention that we must pass a new law. The Alien Sedition Act.
  • As sad as it was George Washington felt the need to step down and let someone else take his spot. But before he left he told his fellow people two things one, to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world. Aldo that he feared that foreign nations might work against US interests
  • Three men who were not really named X,Y, and Z invited the american men to talk and told them that the minister would talk but only if America  loaned $10 million dollars and a bribe of $250,000. Then yet again why would America pay them that much amount of money just to talk about a problem.
  • The Alien Sedition Acts was basically just going against the first amendment . It was going against the first amendment because it wasn't allowing people to speak their minds. Some nations didn't like it at all because people were getting thrown in jail for saying mean stuff about Hamilton. Lots of people were getting tired of it.
