  • Act 1 The story takes place in Scotland, where we see three witches over a cauldron, the witches talk about meeting with our protagonist, Macbeth.Duncan (The king of Scotland) hears about Macbeth and Banquo's successful battles and plans to execute the Thane of Cawdor and make Macbeth the new Thane of Cawdor. The witches then meet Macbeth as he returns home and tells him that how he's going to be the next king.Macbeth sends a letter to his wife telling her the news he has just received, but lady Macbeth (the antagonist) has other plans.Later that night, lady Macbeth tells Macbeth to kill Duncan so he can become king.Duncan then asks if they can celebrate Macbeth's new tittle at his castle.So lady Macbeth and Macbeth form a plan to kill Duncan.
  • Act 2  That night, Macbeth and lady Macbeth put there plane into action.Lady Macbeth gives everyone drinks so that Macbeth can assassinate Duncan.After Macbeth completes this, lady Macbeth then puts the blood on the daggers on the servants to make it look like they did it.A few hours later, Macduff and Lennox come knocking at Macbeth's gate entrance to wake king Duncan up.Macbeth leads them to the room to where Duncan's sleeping. Lennox walks in the room and see's that Duncan is dead.When Duncans sons hear that there father is dead, they decide to go there separate ways and leave Scotland. 
  • Macbeth has just received his crown as the new king of Scotland, but Banquo thinks that Macbeth has killed Duncan for the crown. 
  • let your highness command upon me, to witch my duties are with a most indissoluble tie forever knit.
  • That night, lady Macbeth and Macbeth discus what they should do about Banquo, so they deiced to send murders to kill Banquo.  
  •  come on, my gentle lord, sleek o'er your rugged looks.Be bright and jovial among your guests tonight. 
  • Banquo is now dead and his son ran away
  • O treachery! Fly, good Fleance, fly, fly, fly! Thou mayst revenge - O slave
  • Macbeth gets the news that Banquo is dead, but hears that his son has ran away.At the dinner Macbeth see Banquo's ghost and everyone thinks he's crazy.
  • Here, my good lord.What is't that moves your highness
