Storyboard Text

  • Where is everyone? Why won't anyone speak with me?
  • Hello, Griffin.
  • The Griffin and I worked out a deal.
  • What?! Why didn't you drive him out??!! He's going to eat our children!
  • I kind of have to get back to work...
  • The Griffin decides to go to town to see the statue of himself because he wants to know what he looks like. The townspeople are scared of him and hide. The Minor Canon goes to talk to him to find out what he wants.
  • We want you to leave. The Griffin will follow you if you go.
  • What? Are you serious?
  • The Minor Canon and the Griffin worked out a deal for him to see the statue the next day and reported back to the townspeople. The Townspeople are angry he let the Griffin into town.
  • Welcome to class!
  • The Griffin visits the statue and is extremely pleased with it. Going to the church and staring at it has become a daily thing. The townspeople are still in fear and not leaving their homes.
  • You selfish humans!
  • Most of the  town has left because the Griffin hasn't left yet. The townspeople are angry at the Minor Canon saying he brought it here and are afraid it's going to eat people when it's the autumnal equinox. They say if the Minor Canon leaves, so will the Griffin.
  • The Griffin takes up the Minor Canon's job because of his absence. He teaches at the school and visits the poor. Children are now learning out of fear and the poor are doing work for dinners now.
  • I'm scared
  • The autumnal equinox was coming soon so the townspeople were preparing a feast for the Griffin thinking if they didn't he'd eat their children. The Griffin said that the townspeople were selfish and it'd be distasteful to eat any of them. He says he is going to leave and find the Minor Canon.
  • Anything would be better than you devouring our children.
