In this scene you see Annie about to get locked in her room by Helen. She is not going to be happy about that. Instead of going out the door she ha to go out the window.
In this scene you see really what was the first kind of physical contact Annie made with Helen. They are at the table and usually grabs food off of other peoples plates. Her parents are OK with this because its the only way they can have an adult conversation. However, Annie is not. Before Helen can get to Annie plate, Annie grabs her hand. And Helen flips out. This is also the first time we see conflict between Annie and Captain Keller. I know that James was originally sitting down but i could not make that work in this scene.
