  • Robert hooke was a famous scientist, born in 1635.He most famously discovered the law of elasticity.
  • Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek
  • The second person is Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek. A Dutch inventor, he discovered free cellsand observed the nucleus within some red blood cells.
  • Matthias Schleiden,
  • A German botanist, he stated that all plants are composed of cell.
  • Theodore Schwann and Rudolph Virchow
  • Rudolph Virchow, theorized that all livingcells come from pre-existing living cells.
  • Theodore Schwann, a German zoologist, concluded thatall animals are composed of cells.
  • They are the contributors to the cell theory.
