The Truman Doctrine was created by Henry Truman on July 24 1947; were American efforts to fight Soviet geopolitical expantionism.
Greek victory in their civil war (30 March 1946 – 16 October 1949) is part of the Truman doctrine. which instills American aid towards anyone who oppose communism.
The Truman doctrine was aiding countries by giving them money. Such example was at Turkey; they were supplied with money to keep control of their naval superiority.
The Truman doctrine's goals is to make the aided country richer to oppose the idea of communism. This is also to strengthen their defenses in preparation of a Soviet invasion.
The Marshall plan was activated on June 3 1948. The plan was to aid Europe with American goods and money to reconstruct their economies and build a strong nations to fend of the soviets.
