  • Truman Doctrine
  • The Truman Doctrine was created by Henry Truman on July 24 1947; were American efforts to fight Soviet geopolitical expantionism.
  • Greek victory in their civil war (30 March 1946 – 16 October 1949) is part of the Truman doctrine. which instills American aid towards anyone  who oppose communism.
  • The Truman doctrine was aiding countries by giving them money. Such example was at Turkey; they were supplied with money to keep control of their naval superiority. 
  • The Truman doctrine's goals is to make the aided country richer to oppose the idea of communism. This is also to strengthen their defenses in preparation of a Soviet invasion.
  • Marshall Plan
  • The Marshall plan was activated on June 3 1948. The plan was to aid Europe with American goods and money to reconstruct their economies and build a strong nations to fend of the soviets.
  • The Marshall plan works by removing trade barriers, modernizing the industry, and many more. The Soviet members were also invited to the plan however rejcted.
  • The Marshall plan was a plan to further suppress soviet expansionism. It aims to economically aid the war broken Europe from communism
  • The reasons why the invited Soviet members rejected mainly because the Soviet Union was against it. Because, it was thought that the plan was to instill American Capitalism: the Union was right to think so.
