  • Ophelia, under the pressure of the King and her father, attempts to see what is causing Hamlet distress - she fails.
  • Get thee to a nunnery!
  • O, help him, you sweet heavens!
  • Hamlet writes a scene for the play that alludes to the murder of Old Hamlet by Claudius.
  • The King has been poisoned! 
  • O, I am slain!
  • Hamlet, believing that the hider in the Queen's room to be Claudius, slays Polonius.
  • O me, what hast thou done? 
  • I miss my father...
  • Ophelia goes insane after the death of her father, and drowns herself.
  • Hamlet holds the skull of the King's old jester, Yorick, a man he once knew. He realizes that no matter how great one may be, everyone is the same in the end
  • A duel between Hamlet and Laertes involving a poisoned sword results in both of their deaths. The Queen dies after unknowingly drinking a poisoned drink. When Hamlet realizes the sword he has been struck with has been poisoned, he stabs and kills Claudius.
