  • Hi Mr. Rook, I have a question ?
  • Hello Ricky! What's your question
  • What is Passive Transport
  • Passive Transport is a movement of ions across cell membranes without need of energy input. It is important because glucose is moving from higher to lower concentration. There are 3 different types of Passive transport which are, Osmosis,Diffusion, and Facilitated diffusion .
  • Osmosis is when molecules of a solvent pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one.
  • Diffusion is the movement of small or lipophilic molecules
  • And Facilitated diffusion is the movement of large or charged molecules travel  through membrane proteins.
  • Cool! Thanks Mr. Rook
