Hi Mr. Rook, I have a question ?
Hello Ricky! What's your question
What is Passive Transport
Passive Transport is a movement of ions across cell membranes without need of energy input. It is important because glucose is moving from higher to lower concentration. There are 3 different types of Passive transport which are, Osmosis,Diffusion, and Facilitated diffusion .
Osmosis is when molecules of a solvent pass through a semipermeable membrane from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one.
Diffusion is the movement of small or lipophilic molecules
And Facilitated diffusion is the movement of large or charged molecules travel through membrane proteins.
Cool! Thanks Mr. Rook
