Matrix Comic Strip
Matrix A matrix is a rectangular array of numbers, symbols, or expressions arranged in rows and columns.
Today class where going to talk about matrices and what a Matrix is. As it says on the board...
Types of Matrix Operations: Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication. You can also solve Matrices by using inverse. *Note: The numbers in a Matrix are its entries, and the dimensions of a matrix are 2x3 or 3x3. Example:IF your Matrix is a 2x3 the amount of rows you have are 2 and the amount of columns you have are 3. Also there are different types of matrix such as: -Row Matrix- which is a Matrix with only 1 row. -Column Matrix- A Matrix with only 1 column. -Square Matrix- A Matrix that only has the same number of rows and columns. -Zero Matrix- A matrix whose entries are all zeros. Identity Matrix- A Matrix that has 1's on the main diagonal and Zeros Elsewhere.
