Storyboard Text

  • Tuesday... 10:15 am
  • Lucy and Sam have just gotten into a heated argument. They are now waiting outside of the principal's office.
  • Don't act so "Holier than thou"! You are what's wrong with the world!
  • Oh, just shut up already!
  • This is why no one likes you! You believe in crazy things!
  • You are so dumb!
  • Oh dear...
  • Being able to accept a person's point of view without agreeing is crucial in the real world...
  • I understand your frustrations. But please know that people can have differing opinions and still be respectful. It's called being civil. How about you both try it out?
  • I'm sorry, Sam.
  • I love my job.
  • I'm sorry, Lucy.
  • You know what, Maria!? What you just said goes against my values... You are cruel, and you are so ignorant! I never want to talk to you again!!!
  • Later that same day...
  • You're right, Lucy. I should go apologize to Maria.
  • Hey Summer. I understand you do not agree with Maria's point of view, and you have a right to that. But please be civil about it, I think you really hurt Maria's feelings.
